IAHI
members contributed more than $28,000 to INN-PAC,
the IAHI’s political action committee, during
the Association’s Fifth Annual Golf Tournament,
held in conjunction with the IHG Americas Investors & Leadership
Conference in Toronto this October.
Throughout the years, INN-PAC has become one of
the most influential business-oriented political
action committees in the nation. INN-PAC provides
IHG franchisees a unified voice on Capitol Hill,
and helps elect legislators that support the hospitality
industry and the franchise community.
“INN-PAC promotes the interests of IHG franchisees
and the tourism industry by assisting candidates
on both sides of the aisle who understand how legislation
affects our ability to successfully operate hotels,” said
Greg Schahet, Chairman of the IAHI INN-PAC Committee. “It
also enables our entire franchise community to speak
with one voice for much greater impact on Capitol
Hill.”
