Leadership Biography: Eva Ferguson
IAHI President
Industry veteran Eva Ferguson brings more than 20 years of experience in the hotel business to her role as president of IAHI.
Prior to being named president in 2005, she was IAHI's vice president of operations & membership. In this capacity, Eva directed all activities relating to membership by reaching out to new potential franchisees on a global basis. She joined the association in 1992, serving as director of meetings and business services, where she successfully coordinated and implemented more than 60 meetings annually.
Before that, the Arkansas native was a manager in franchise administration with the Holiday Corporation. Eva began her career in the hospitality arena as a legal assistant at Hampton Inns and was part of the first team of Hampton corporate employees in the brand's early years.
Eva is on the Board of the IAHI, and is a member of American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). She enjoys reading and golfing in her spare time.
