In February 2000, Mr. Glover founded BayStar Hotel Group with three partners in Tampa, FL - his hometown area - where he serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. BayStar currently has two hotels open and two under construction in Tampa, and contracts to acquire one additional hotel asset. Mr. Glover is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the company, its growth through new construction projects, franchise affiliations, asset acquisitions, and development of its management contract portfolio.

From 1983 until February 1, 2000, Mr. Glover was President and Chief Operating Officer for Wilson Hotel Management Co., Inc. (WHMC), a Memphis based division of the Kemmons Wilson Companies. WHMC had owned and operated eleven Holiday Inn Hotels, ten Wilson Inn Hotels, six Wilson World Hotels, three Sheraton Hotels, a Hilton Resort Hotel, and two Hampton Inn and Suites. He was responsible for long range strategic planning, overall operations, business management, and continuous evaluation of WHMC's operations. In addition to his administrative functions, he served as EVP, Managing Director of the Orange Lake Country Club, a 1400 plus unit timeshare resort and assisted with the development and market positioning of Holiday Inn Founder - Kemmons Wilson's new hospitality concepts, Wilson World Hotels and Wilson Inns.

Prior to 1983, he was a District Director for Holiday Inns, Inc. with the responsibility for the operation of thirty plus company owned and franchised properties. Mr. Glover began his career with AIRCOA and has been general manager of six different hotels, both commercial and resort properties throughout the United States ; and has held various operations management positions.

Active in American Hotel and Lodging Association Committees and the IAHI (Worldwide Owners Association of InterContinental Hotels Franchisee's), where he has been chair of the Strategic Planning Task Force, the Holiday Inn Express Brand Committee, South Central Regional Committee, served as vice chair Food and Beverage Committee, and currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee, and Board Chairman 2001-2002.
