Leadership Biography: Kevin P. Hilchey
Lodging Host Hotel Corporation
 Kevin P. Hilchey is President and Founder of Longview,
Texas-based Lodging Host Hotel Corporation, which he
started in 1984.
Hilchey co-founded the East Texas Hotel and Motel Association
in 1982 and served as its President. He has also
served on the Board and as President of the Legal Defense
Fund for the Texas Hotel and Motel Association (now TH&LA).
In addition, he has served on the Mayor’s Advisory
Council on Tourism for the City of Longview for four
years, and is a member of the Knights of Columbus at
Christ the King Catholic Church in Kilgore, Texas.
Hilchey graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s
degree in hotel administration from the University of
New Hampshire, and has completed 20 hours toward an MBA
at the University of Texas.
He has been active in the IAHI by serving on the Holiday
Inn Express Brand Committee from 2003 to the present
and the Southern Regional Committee from 2001-2003.
